Dad, I wish I would have told you more just how much you meant to me and how much of a wonderful difference you made in my life. Thank you for showing me in so many ways just how much you cared. You taught me so many things throughout the years and I thank you so much for all of them, especially for things such as; compassion, to be strong and to always believe in myself. Thank you for always being there when I needed you, for believing in me, for all the strong comforting hugs and for all the times you pushed me to try harder! I know I put you through more than I should have and took your time here for granted, but I just never conceived the thought of you not being here any longer. You see, I always thought of you as a powerhouse that was indestructible. But, I should have taken my head out of the clouds and knew that wasn't possible. Now that you are gone, I realize just how little time we have here. See, even though you’re no longer here, you are still teaching me. Dad, not even death can take away the love and admiration I have always had for you....I am so proud to be your daughter!!! I hope you knew that! I just pray that even though I didn't turn out exactly like you had hoped, that somewhere along the line I made you proud. Dad, I miss you so very much...especially the walks, talks, and watching the games together! I guess what I am trying to say is thank you for being the greatest dad anyone could have ever had. The best gift I ever received was from God….and I called him DAD!! I love so very much, Daddy.....R.I.P! Oh..one more thing. Could you find my Sable girl up there and tell her how much I love & miss her too and take care of her for me please?? Thanks!
