My dad saw a ad on the internet many years back, stating the need for mall santas. He said that he would like to do that and applied. We, his family, didn't think that would go over real good or last very long, because of dad's personality. Not that he was mean or anything, by any means, but because dad was a very quiet man...He just wasn't real talkative. Santa is a very outgoing fellow who laughs and smiles a lot! But, that job was just what my dad needed and come to find out it was a job that he was destined for. He started his first Santa job in November 1999 and performed his last one December 2013. He became the very best Santa that that company ever had, that mall (and all the other ones he worked at) had ever had, and he actually had adults beginning to question if indeed, there was a Santa Claus!! He loved playing Santa so very much and millions of people who came in contact with him during the holidays will miss him so very much!
